PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope lens unit including a smaller diameter lens which satisfactorily ensures the accuracy of the optical system while preventing the lens from getting damages when assembling the lens in a lens frame.SOLUTION: An endoscope lens unit 31 which is disposed in an insertion section 3 of an endoscope 1 includes: plural lenses L1-L4 each having an identical diameter and a cylindrical lens frame 34 that stores the plural lens by supporting the outer peripheral edge thereof. At least one of the plural lenses is a plano-concave lens L1 which has a plane surface at one side and a concave surface at the other side and is inserted in the lens frame with the plane side facing inward.
