A washing machine, belonging to the field of washing machines and comprising: a water collecting structure used for preventing water discharged from an inner tub (200) from overflowing and a drainage structure used for discharging the water in the water collecting structure. The inner tub (200) comprises a tub body and an inner tub bottom arranged at the lower part of the tub body; the water collecting structure is positioned outside of the inner tub bottom, and by means of the water collecting structure being positioned outside of the inner tub bottom, the interval distance between the tub body and a washing machine body (100) is increased, so that expansion to a greater extent may be achieved. The washing machine has a reasonable design, a simple structure and is low cost.
