An inhaler (400) for administering dry powder medicine contained in a capsule (420), the inhaler (400) comprises: a capsule chamber (404) of a size suitable for tightly accommodating said capsule (420) within a capsule holding volume (404); at least one needle (402) inside the inhaler (400), the needle comprises a gas lumen having at least one gas outlet (304); and an actuator mechanism configured to move the capsule chamber (404) and at least one needle (402) relative to each other; where the drive mechanism is operable to prepare the inhaler (400) by moving the needle (402) with respect to the capsule chamber (404) along a path to introduce a part of the needle (402) through a first limit location of the capsule holding volume (404) and into the capsule holding volume (404); and where the actuator mechanism continues the driven movement of the needle (402) along the path with respect to the capsule chamber (404) to move said part of the needle (402) from said interior to a second boundary location of the holding volume of the capsule (404), and then to place said part of the needle (402) to extend past the second boundary location to exit the holding volume of the capsule (404); characterized in that: the continued further actuation of the actuator mechanism retracts the needle part (402) including at least one gas outlet (304) back inside and away from the second boundary location; and where the inhaler (400) is configured to dispense the dry powder medicine from an outlet opening (310) left open by the needle retracted in the capsule wall (420) in the second boundary location, while the portion of the needle (402) that includes at least one gas outlet (304) remains retracted inside, and when the inhaler (400) is prepared with the capsule (420) placed within the holding volume of the capsule (404).Un inhalador (400) para administrar medicamento en polvo seco contenido en una cápsula (420), el inhalador (400) comprende: una cámara de cápsula (404) de un tamaño ade
