PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cartridge in which a sterilizing agent remains from being taken out from a sterilization apparatus in order to prevent a user from touching the sterilizing agent.SOLUTION: In a sterilization apparatus for sterilizing an object by extracting a sterilizing agent from a cartridge containing the sterilizing agent, in a case where the cartridge is mounted in the sterilization apparatus, locking is performed so that the cartridge cannot be taken out, and the sterilizing agent in the cartridge is discharged.
