The guiding apparatus 20 includes: an external permanent magnet 25a a first plane position change unit 25b to a turning angle change unit 25e that translate and rotate the external permanent magnet 25a an operation input unit 24 that receives first information about an operation for changing a position of a capsule endoscope 10 and second information about an operation for changing a posture of the capsule endoscope 10 and a control unit 26 that controls the first plane position change unit 25b to the turning angle change unit 25e to translate and rotate the external permanent magnet 25a based on the first information and the second information, and the control unit 26 corrects a change in the position of the capsule endoscope 10 caused by the rotation of the external permanent magnet 25a by translating the capsule endoscope 10 relative to a subject when the operation input unit 24 receives the second information.
