Surgical needle according to claim 1, wherein the coating increases the durability of the lower top surface.3. Surgical needle according to claim 1, wherein the elongate body is made of tungsten-rhenium alloy.5. Surgical needle according to claim 4, further comprising a primer coating disposed between the outer surface of the elongated body and the backsheet, wherein the primer coating is connected with the outer surface of the elongated body and the backsheet.6. Surgical needle according to claim 5, wherein the primer coating is based on silicon.7. A surgical needle according to claim 1 wherein the backsheet comprises vinyl functionalized organopolysiloxane.8. The surgical needle according to claim 1, wherein the topcoat contains a polydimethylsiloxane having terminal hydroxyl groups.9. The surgical needle according to claim 8, wherein the topcoat further comprises metilgidridsiloksan.10. A surgical needle, comprising:an elongated body made of tungsten-rhenium alloy and having a tissue penetrating tipa primer coating on the outer surface of the elongated body and covalently linked to reactive functional groups on the outer surface of the elongated bodylower coating on the primer coating andtopsheet disposed on the backsheet.11.
