PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement assisting device capable of reducing a load to a user due to mass of an actuator.SOLUTION: A movement assisting device includes: a mounting fixture attached to a human body of a user, and having a joint part for connecting a first member and a second member in a relatively rotatable manner an actuator for relatively rotating the first member and the second member a control device for performing drive control of the actuator and a battery device for charging electric power to be supplied to the actuator. The actuator is disposed at a front surface part disposed at a front surface of a user in the mounting fixture.
