PURPOSE: A production method of a vegetation mat is provided to use the cuttage of chrysanthemum for producing a garden. CONSTITUTION: A space unit for the cuttage is installed on the center of a vegetation mat formed of a coconut fiber. Culture soil is inserted into the space unit, and a graft of chrysanthemum is inserted into the space unit. The exposed portion of the graft is covered by a covering layer formed of a biodegradable resin and compressed pulp. The culture soil contains 70-85 parts by weight of coco peat, 15-30 parts by weight of perlite, 5-10 parts by weight of vermiculite, 3-5 parts by weight of zeolite, and 10-20 parts by weight of fertilizer. The vegetation mat is soaked in siliceous or phosphatic liquid fertilizer. The depth of the space unit is deeper than 8 mm, and the diameter of the space unit is greater than 5 mm. The length of the graft is at least 1 cm or longer.
