PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for washing rice with a small quantity of water without putting the hand directly into cold water when it is cold in winter.SOLUTION: A rice-washing device includes: a transparent tubular body container 1 having openings in its both ends, and provided with a grip 5, an upper cover 3 and a lower cover 4 and a hemispherical detachable water-draining ball container 2 having pores 6 which is located on the lower cover 4 side in the inner part of the body container 1. After the upper cover 3 is opened, rice and water whose amount is equal to or larger than the amount of rice are put in the body container 1 of the rice-washing device, and the upper cover 3 is closed, and then the grip 5 is grasped and strongly shaken, up and down, and right and left, with the lower cover 4 facing upward to generate a water current in the body container 1. The rice particles rub one another in the water current to perform the rice washing. Then, the lower cover 4 is opened to drain the water in which the rice has been washed. After that, in order to wash the rice, washing water is poured from the opening through which the draining is made, the body container 1 is lightly shaken, with the lower cover 4 detached, to drain the water in which the rice has been washed from the opening. A rice-washing method using the rice-washing device is achieved by repeating a series of the operations.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】冬の寒い時期、冷水に直接手を入れることなく、少量の水で米をとぐ方法を提供。【解決手段】両端部を開口とする透明の筒状の本体容器1に取手5、上蓋3、及び下蓋4で構成する本体容器1内部の下蓋4側方の位置に脱着が可能である多孔6を有する半球状の水切りボール容器2を設ける構造からなる米とぎ器の本体容器1の中に、上蓋3を開けて米と同量以上の水を入れ、上蓋3を閉めた後、下蓋4を上方に向けて取手5を持ち上下・左右に強く振ることで本体容器1内に水流が発生して、この水流の中で米粒どうしがこすれ合うことで米とぎを行ない、その後、下蓋4を開けてとぎ汁を排水し、次に米を洗浄するために排出した同開口から洗浄水を注水して下蓋4を取外した状態で本体容器1を軽く振り、同開口からとぎ汁の排水を行う一連の作業を繰り返しできる米とぎ器による米とぎ方法。【選択図】図1
