摘要：: The present invention relates to a use of aLitchi chinensisflower extract for manufacturing compositions for inhibiting tyrosinase by applying theLitchi chinensis flower extract to a subject needed to inhibit tyrosinase activity. TheLitchi chinensisflower extract is prepared by the steps of drying aLitchi chinensisflower material to obtain a dried material, and extracting the dried material by a solvent to obtain theLitchi chinensisflower extract. Accordingly, theLitchi chinensisflower extract can inhibit tyrosinase activity efficiently and can be used for manufacturing whitening cosmetic compositions.本發明有關於一種荔枝花(Litchi chinensisflower)萃取物用於製備抑制酪胺酸酶組成物之用途，係將一荔枝花萃取物投予至一所需個體，以抑制酪胺酸酶之活性；其中該荔枝花萃取物之製備方法包含以一乾燥步驟處理一荔枝花材料，以獲得一乾燥材料，再將該乾燥材料以一溶劑萃取，以獲得該荔枝花萃取物；本案之荔枝花萃取物可有效抑制酪胺酸酶活性，因此可應用於製備美白的化妝保養品。
