PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemostatic device capable of stopping hemorrhage due to a biological tissue hole formed from a body surface to a blood vessel by a simple operation.SOLUTION: A use method of a hemostatic device includes: inserting a distal end of a sheath 2 of a hemostatic device 1 into a blood vessel V via an introducer sheath 6； advancing an operation member 3 with respect to the sheath 2 to push out a thrombus formation member 4 from the distal end of the sheath 2 to the interior of the blood vessel V and to be developed； after forming a thrombus P in the periphery of the thrombus formation member 4, pulling the sheath 2, operation member 3, and introducer sheath 6 to locate the thrombus P along with the thrombus formation member 4 at an opening part H2 of a blood wall W； and cutting off the thrombus formation member 4 from the operation member 3 to place the thrombus P in the opening part H2 of the blood vessel wall W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
