The present disclosure is related to a novel treatment for the periodontal disease through the use of delivery systems of the following active principles: Thymus vulgaris, Juliana adstringens Schl. and Croton lechleri, made from chitosan and (0) pullulan, to which said aqueous extracts were incorporated into the formulation. These films can also be added with the fractions of each of the mentioned extracts.La presente invención describe un nuevo tratamiento de la enfermedad periodontal mediante el uso de sistemas de liberación de los principios activos de Thymus vulgaris, Juliana adstringens Schl. y Croton lechleri, elaborados a partir de quitosan y (0) de pululano, a los cuales se les incorporaron dichos extractos acuosos en su formulación. Estas películas también pueden ser adicionadas con las fracciones de cada uno de los extractos mencionados.
