The present invention relates to novel bacteriophage SA7 having destruction capability specific to harmful bacteria, staphylococcus in particular, a pharmacological composition, an antibacterial composition, a feed additive composition, feed, an antiseptic, or a cleaner for preventing or treating infectious disease from staphylococcus which comprises the bacteriophage, and a method for preventing or treating infectious disease from staphylococcus which comprises a step of injecting the bacteriophage to a living organism. The method for preventing or treating infectious disease from staphylococcus by using bacteriophage SA7 has high specificity to staphylococcus compared to chemical materials such as an existing antibiotic agent. The bacteriophage SA7 infects staphylococcus, proliferates in the staphylococcus, and thus has excellent bacteriolysis activity and is highly resistant to physical and chemical stimulation. In addition, hosts such as humans, animals, and plants other than bacteria are not infected by the bacteriophage SA7. Therefore, the bacteriophage SA7 can solve a problem of bacteria resistant to antibiotic agents caused by abuse of antibiotics, a problem of antibiotic agents remaining in food, and a problem of a wide host range. In particular, the bacteriophage SA7 can proliferate in Staphylococcus aureus which is sometimes resistant to antibiotic agents and thus has an advantage of exhibiting an excellent antibacterial effect.
