PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biometric authentication apparatus capable of easily focusing on a plurality of pieces of biological information and clearly capturing images, capable of authenticating the iris, fingerprints, veins, etc. simultaneously, and capable of achieving highly accurate authentication and reducing the rate of false authentication.SOLUTION: The biometric authentication apparatus comprises a first information acquisition part 110 for acquiring the information on the fingerprints and veins with a transparent plate 1101 made of, for example, glass or plastics, for mounting an object OBJ, a finger of a person to be authenticated, and a lighting device a second information acquisition part 120 for acquiring the information on the iris from an object OBJ2, an eye of the person to be authenticated an information light path forming part 130 and an imaging device 140 as main components.
