PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black tea beverage excellent in a sweet sour taste and freshness.SOLUTION: The black tea beverage includes 5 to 50 mg/100 ml of tannin. with a ratio of total mass of ethyl butyrate, ethyl 2-methyl butyrate, butyl acetate, and 2-methyl butyl acetate to the mass of ethyl hexanoate of 100 or more. The black tea beverage includes a fruit juice with a content of preferably 10 mass% or more relative to the total mass of the beverage.
