A pharmaceutical dosage form carrier, preferably for carrying syringes or ampoules, comprises a base 1 and a side-by-side array of elongate receptacles extending from the base 1. Each receptacle is sized to accommodate a predetermined dosage of a drug, and comprises a base region 1-13 having a coloured display panel 24-30 the colour being selected to provide a visual indication of the dosage form to be accommodated in the receptacle. The carrier further preferably comprises a polymeric tray 1 configured to receive a plurality of transparent inserts, each insert housing one of more of the receptacles. The coloured panels 24-30 may therefore be arranged either on each insert or on the tray 1 such that the panels 24-30 are visible through the base of the transparent inserts. A claim for a system comprising a carrier, an array of syringes and a cover, all sealed within a sterile package, is also provided.
