PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article in which a side flap on a front bodice region is hardly twisted, and which can be easily worn.SOLUTION: A side flap 20 is provided by jointing a cover sheet 11 and a pair of three-dimensional gatherings 15 through a hot-melt adhesive. The side flap 20 comprises at least one of a rigid region 21 formed by thermal seal or supersonic deposition, a rigid region 22 by a reinforcement member, and rigid regions 23, 24 by a bellows shape, as the arrangement pattern in at least one of a vertical direction, a lateral direction and an oblique direction. The rigid region can maintain a shape of the side flap 20 to a desired shape. By the rigid region 21 provided on the side flap 20, a grip force of the side flap 20 is improved. Therefore, in wearing, twisting on the side flap 20 is prevented for facilitating wearing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】前身頃領域のサイドフラップが撚れ難く、装着し易い吸収性物品を提供する【解決手段】サイドフラップ２０は、ホットメルト接着剤を介して、カバーシート１１と一対の立体ギャザー１５とを接合することにより設けられている。このサイドフラップ２０には、熱融着又は超音波溶着による剛性領域２１、補強部材による剛性領域２２、及び、蛇腹形状による剛性領域２３，２４の少なくとも一つが、縦方向、横方向、及び、斜め方向の少なくとも一つの配列パターンとして配置されている。この剛性領域により、サイドフラップ２０の形状を、所望の形状に維持することができる。また、サイドフラップ２０に設けられた剛性領域２１により、サイドフラップ２０のグリップ力を向上させることができる。これにより、着用時に、サイドフラップ２０に撚れが生じることを防止し、装着をスムーズに行うことができる。【選択図】図４
