PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair by which width can be adjusted with good workability, the height of a seat face is not changed even though the width is adjusted and which can be folded as is conventionally done.SOLUTION: In the foldable wheelchair, right and left frames 1 are coupled by X-shape cross members 14. Vertical pipes 23 are fixed to the lower part of a seat pipe 21 supporting both the ends of a seat. The lower end parts of the cross members 14 are pivotally attached to the lower parts of the side frames 1, a cross slide pipe 26 is coupled to the upper end part of the cross members 14, the width between the side frames 1, 1 can be changed by changing the attaching height to the vertical pipe 23.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】作業性よく幅調節を行うことができ、幅調節を行っても座面高さは変わらず、しかも従来と同様に折り畳みもできる車椅子を提供する。【解決手段】左右の側枠1をX状のクロス部材14により連結した折り畳み可能な車椅子である。シートの両端を支持するシートパイプ21の下方に、垂直パイプ23を固定する。クロス部材14の下端部を側枠1の下部に枢着する一方、クロス部材14の上端部にクロススライドパイプ26を連結し、その垂直パイプ23への取付高さを変えることにより、側枠1、1間の幅調節を可能とした。【選択図】図4
