An anti-obesity agent containing, as an active ingredient, a microorganism which belongs to the species Lactobacillus reuteri and is capable of producing lipases having the amino acid sequences respectively depicted in SEQ ID NO: 1, 3 or 5 or amino acid sequences having deletion, substitution or addition of one or more amino acids in the amino acid sequences respectively depicted in SEQ ID NO: 1, 3 or 5. The anti-obesity agent enables a patient to take a normal meal yet preventing the absorption of a fat into the body which is the primary cause of obesity.락토바실러스 루테리에 속하고, 서열표의 1, 3, 5로 표시되는 아미노산 서열 또는 당해 아미노산 서열에 있어서 1개 또는 복수개의 아미노산이 결실, 치환 또는 부가된 아미노산 서열로 표시되는 리파아제를 생산하는 미생물을 유효성분으로 하는 항비만제를 제공한다. 이 항비만제는 통상의 식사를 취하면서, 비만의 커다란 원인이 되는 지질이 체내에 흡수되는 것을 방지할 수 있는 것이다.
