To provide a composition obtained from a vegetable oil and having an effect of improving the damage of the hair such as "there is no hirikoshi", "no gloss", "there is no coherency", "pasataku" A cosmetic composition capable of sustaining an effect is provided.A cosmetic composition obtained by adding 1 to 200 parts by weight of a strong acid to 100 parts by weight of vegetable oil and heat treating at 50 to 150 C. is used.
