The invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions and dosage forms having a piperidine carbonitrile as an active ingredient for the treatment of various diseases and conditions. The preferred compound is a crystalline form of a trifluoromethylphenylalkoxyalkylheteroarylaryl piperidine carbonitrile.
