PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the visibility of an image output to a monitor by easily adding a camera to an existing nurse call system without an image capturing function.SOLUTION: A camera set in a sick room making a call among a plurality of cameras 30a, 30b, etc. for calling in each sick room is selected and driven to capture the image of a carereceiver, e.g. a patient, who made the call, by controlling an external calling-respondent monitor 50 connected to a nurse-call master unit 40.
