CONSTITUTION: A composition for suppressing proliferation of Newcastle disease virus or avian influenza virus contains a medicinal herb material extract including Lonicera japonica stems and leaves, Scutellaria baicalensis, Rehmannia glutinosa var. purpurea, Puerariae radix, Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer, and garlic in a weight ratio of 1-20:20-40:10-30:1-20:20-40:20-40. The extract is prepared using one or more solvents selected from the group consisting of water, ethanol, and butanol.
