The invention provides an oral composition comprising 4-methy-8-phenoxy-1-(2-phenylethyl)-2,3-dlhydro-1H-pyrrolo[3,2-c]quinoline or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and/or solvate thereof and chlorhexidine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and/or solvate thereof, wherein the composition is in the form of a mouthwash and comprises: about 0.001% w/v to about 0,0.6 %. w/v of chlorhexidine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and/or solvate thereof. Also provided is an oral composition comprising 4-methyl-8-phenoxy-1-(2-phenyIethyl)-2,3-dihydro-1 H-pyrrolo[3,2-c]quinoline or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and/or solvate thereof, chlorhexidine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and/or solvate thereof, and a zinc compound.Linvention concerne une composition pour voie orale comprenant de la 4-méthyl-8-phénoxy-1-(2-phényléthyl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrrolo[3,2-c]quinoléine ou un sel de qualité pharmaceutique et/ou un solvate de celle-ci et de la chlorhexidine ou un sel de qualité pharmaceutique et/ou un solvate de celle-ci, la composition se présentant sous la forme dun bain de bouche et comprenant : environ 0,001 % en poids/volume à environ 0,0.6 % en poids/volume de la chlorhexidine ou un sel de qualité pharmaceutique et/ou un solvate de celle-ci.
