PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the provision of an endoscope apparatus with a smaller diameter by providing an imaging device suitable for miniaturization.SOLUTION: An imaging device 100 performs switching between a near point focus range for near view imaging and a distant point focus range for distant view imaging by moving an optical member 17 along an optical axis. The imaging device 100 includes: a holding member 25 for movably holding the optical member along the optical axis and a rotation shaft 33 arranged in parallel with an optical axis direction and moving the optical member along the optical axis by rotation drive. The rotation shaft includes multiple first magnetic bodies 43, 45 to be arranged at mutually different axial positions and mutually different circumferential positions on the partial peripheral surface of the rotation shaft. The holding member partially includes second magnetic bodies 47, 49 for generating magnetic force with the first magnetic bodies. The first magnetic bodies face the second magnetic bodies by the rotation drive of the rotation shaft, to thereby move the holding member along the optical axis by magnetic force to be generated between the magnetic bodies.
