PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood treatment system, where a substance having anticoagulant activity does not elute in a state in which an additive amount of anticoagulant is reduced or no anticoagulant is used, formation of blood clots is suppressed, and safe blood purification is enabled.SOLUTION: A blood treatment device comprises a blood circuit and a blood purifier 3. On at least part or the whole of blood contact surfaces of the blood circuit and blood purifier are carried high polymers containing monocarboxylic acid vinyl ester units. The blood purifier comprises: a separation membrane 5 a housing 10 for fixing the separation membrane and a blood port 11A at which a blood introduction inlet is arranged, the blood port being on the side of an end surface of the separation membrane.
