PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compounds and nanoparticles that can be used as active ingredients of immunostimulating compositions and have excellent chemical stability and safety.SOLUTION: A compound according to the present invention contains a poly (phosphoric acid ethylene salt) moiety and a hydrophobic moiety. The hydrophobic moiety shows higher hydrophobicity than the poly (phosphoric acid ethylene salt) moiety.
