PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for a new pharmaceutical application of a compound represented by general formula (1) or a salt thereof.SOLUTION: The compound represented by general formula (1) or the salt thereof shows excellent preventive or ameliorating effect in a conjunctivitis model, and is useful as a preventive or therapeutic agent for inflammatory eye diseases such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, superior limbic keratoconjunctivitis, threadlike keratoconjunctivitis, blepharitis, leucitis, episcleritis, iritis, iridocyclitis, uveitis, alergetic conjunctivitis, phlyctenular conjunctivitis, spring catarrh, epidermic keratoconjunctivitis, or postoperative inflammations.
