A biological information detection device 100 includes a pulse wave information measuring unit 110 which measures pulse wave information, an electrocardiogram measuring unit 120 which measures an electrocardiogram, and a control unit 130 which performs at least one of power supply control on the electrocardiogram measuring unit 120, storage control for electrocardiogram measurement result information measured by the electrocardiogram measuring unit 120, and notification control to output notification information about the measurement of the electrocardiogram using the electrocardiogram measuring unit 120, to a user, if it is determined that an arrhythmia is detected on the basis of detection result information obtained by analysis processing based on the pulse wave information.
