PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hairdressing agent composition capable of exhibiting a sufficient antiseptic effect even if a relatively large amount of a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether is blended.SOLUTION: There is provided a hairdressing agent composition which comprises: a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether (component A) having a polyoxyethylene group having an average addition mole number of 5 or more and 50 or less and having a cetyl group or a stearyl group a component (component B) selected from the group consisting of a paraoxybenzoic acid ester and phenoxyethanol an N-[3-alkyl(12,14)oxy-2-hydroxypropyl]-L-arginine hydrochloric acid salt (component C) a polyhydric alcohol (component D) selected from the group consisting of 1,3-butylene glycol, dipropylene glycol and propylene glycol and water (component E).
