The setting unit sets first, second and third marks for first, second and third feature parts included in the first and second volume data, and sets a correspondence relationship of the first and second marks corresponding to each other. The input unit inputs first finding information about the first and second feature parts, and inputs second finding information about the third feature part. The report generating unit generates a finding report which includes the first and second images, the first, second and third marks, the first and second finding information, and in which the first and third marks are displayed in a different expression.
