PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install or dismantle a neck part, a grip, and a drive unit with a single operation.SOLUTION: This dental handpiece includes locking projections 51 in the grip 3, and includes grooves 52-54 in the neck part 2. By inserting the grip 3 into the neck part 2 and relatively turning the neck part 2 and the grip 3 according to engagement guidance between the locking projections 51 and the grooves 54, the locking projections 51 and the grooves 52 are engaged to connect the neck part and the grip. The dental handpiece includes a rotation stop pin 61 and a spring means inside the grip 3.
