The present invention provides a composition comprising extract of adlay bran, wherein the adlay bran extract comprises C1 to C7 alcohol extract of adlay bran (A) and carbon dioxide supercritical fluid extract of adlay bran (B). Preferably, the extract of adlay bran has effects in treating a skin and/or subcutaneous tissue disease and in lowering interleukin (IL)-1±, interleukin-1², interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-±, interleukin-8, prostaglandin-2 (PGE2) and/or C-Reactive Protein (CRP).
