A system and method of sanitizing one or more structures within an enclosedspaceincludes operatively coupling an ozone ventilation control unit to anultraviolet (UV) lightassembly, an ozone sensor, and an exhaust fan, using the ozone ventilationcontrol unitto operate the UV light assembly to emit UV light into or onto structure(s) oftheenclosed space during a cleaning cycle, receiving, by the ozone ventilationcontrol unit,an ozone presence signal indicative of an amount of ozone within the enclosedspacefrom an ozone sensor that detects the amount of ozone within the enclosedspace,using the ozone ventilation control unit to selectively activate anddeactivate the exhaustfan based on the amount of ozone within the enclosed space, and using theozoneventilation control unit to selectively activate and deactivate the UV lightassemblybased on the amount of ozone within the enclosed space.
