PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single upright knee ankle foot orthosis in which a knee joint of equipment is locked and prevents knee bending in the direction bending further when a heel part of a foot of a diseased side wearing a single upright knee ankle foot orthosis is grounded on the ground, alternatively, the equipment is unlocked and in a free state when the knee joint bends in the extension direction, and the locking of the knee joint is released and the knee of the diseased side can freely be bent and straightened when the heel part of the foot is not grounded on the ground.SOLUTION: A single upright knee ankle foot orthosis includes a thigh rear support part 2, a knee front support part 3, a crus rear support part 4 and a stirrup part 5. These are made from a light-weight and reinforced plastic material. A flexible and extendable knee joint 63 is provided in the middle of a top one side strut 61. A sensor 9 for detecting the heel part 52 of the stirrup part 5 grounding on the ground is provided. A knee joint activator 7 operating based on information from the sensor 9 is provided. When the heel part 52 is not grounded on the ground, the knee joint 63 is made free in either of the extending and bending directions. When the heel part is grounded on the ground, the knee joint 63 is prevented from being bent in the knee bending direction and is made free in the extending direction.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】片側支柱長下肢装具を装着した患側の足の踵部が地面接地時には、同装具の膝継手がそれ以上曲がる方向にはロックして膝折れを防ぐ一方で、膝継手が伸展方向に曲がる場合は非ロックの自在状態とし、足の踵部が地面非接地時には膝継手のロックが解除されて患側の膝を自在に曲げ伸ばしできる片側支柱長下肢装具を提供する。【解決手段】大腿部後面サポート部2、膝下前面サポート部3、下腿部後面サポート部4、あぶみ部5とを備え、これらを軽量・強化プラスチック材で構成し、上部片側支柱61の途中に屈曲伸展する膝継手63を設け、あぶみ部5の踵部52が地面に接地するのを検知するセンサー9を設け、該センサー9からの情報に基づき作動する膝継手作動装置7を設け、踵部52が地面非接地時には膝継手63を伸展屈曲方向のいずれにも自在とし、地面接地時には膝継手63を膝折れ方向に屈曲するのを阻止し伸展方向には自在とする。【選択図】 図1
