PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable bite block which intends to solve the problem that a tongue part cannot be fixed enough during medical treatment for a human body who loses consciousness under general anesthesia and so on in a conventional bite block and offers a shape to fix the tongue part so that the effect of airway management that the bite block originally has is fully achieved.SOLUTION: A bite block is placed in the oral cavity of a human body. In order to secure a clear airway, a bite block apical end (an oral cavity insertion part) is extended. The extended bite block apical end is made a curved shape in order to fix the tongue of the human body. The length of the extended bite block apical end is from 1 centimeter to 3 centimeters. The curved angle of the extended bite block apical end is from 10 degrees to 20 degrees.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、従来のバイトブロックでは全身麻酔等で意識を失った人体に対する医療施術中に舌部の固定が十分できなかったという問題を解決しようとするものであり、バイトブロックの本来持つ気道確保という効果が十分に得られるよう、舌部を固定する形状を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】バイトブロックを人体の口腔内に装着し、気道を確保するため、バイトブロック先端部(口腔挿入部分)を延長し、延長されたバイトブロック先端部は人体の舌を固定するため、湾曲した形状とし、延長されたバイトブロック先端部の長さは、1センチメートルから3センチメートルとし、延長されたバイトブロックの先端部の湾曲した角度は、10度から20度とする。
