PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which has excellent texture and is hard to leak, wherein a seal part in a peripheral part of the absorbent article maintains flexibility.SOLUTION: This absorbent article 1 includes a front face sheet part, a rear face sheet part, and an absorber. The periphery of the absorbent article is formed with a junction area 50 joining the front face sheet part and the rear face sheet part along the periphery over the whole circumference of the periphery of the absorbent article 1. The whole or a part of the junction area 50 is formed with a plurality of pressure-stuck parts 51. Each of the plurality of pressure-stuck parts 51 is formed such that a length in a first direction X is longer than a length in a second direction Y. The whole or a part of the plurality of pressure-stuck parts 51 is formed such that the first direction X is nearly orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article 1.
