PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a dental treatment field that elderly patient could get a serious situation if an impression material flows into the throat when the fluid impression material placed on an impression tray is pressed to the palatal side surface to transfer the shape of the upper jaw surface in the oral cavity for mold making, for making a mold of a perfect denture or a partial denture of the upper jew.SOLUTION: An upper jaw impression tray base plate has an upper jaw impression tray base plate surrounded by a side plate, has an impression material drainage opening in an area of a palate curve surface of the bottom plate and has a reverse plate which is attached to the rear face of the palate curve surface to cover the impression material drainage opening and extends/opens in the direction to the lip side of the tray from an origin of the rear face of the palate curve surface.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】歯科治療の分野において、上顎の総入れ歯あるいは部分入れ歯の型を取る際に、印象用トレーの上に盛った流動性のある印象材を口蓋側面に押さえつけて口腔上顎面の形状を転写させて型取りを行う際、高齢の患者は、喉まで流れて、重大が事態を招く危険性がある。【解決手段】上顎印象用トレー底板の周囲を側板によって包囲してなると共に、底板の口蓋曲面の区域に、印象材流出用開口部を設け、かつ、口蓋曲面の裏面に、印象材流出用開口部を覆い、口蓋曲面裏面を始点として、トレーの口唇側方向に開口して広がる反転板を設けた上顎印象用トレーである。【選択図】図1
