The air cleaner is configured so that if, when the cumulative running time of the fan motor (12) exceeds an established time (T1), the odor level detected by the odor sensor (6) is less than or equal to an established odor level, heating by the heating unit (10) is started, and if the odor level exceeds the established odor level, heating is not started.
