A paradoxical pulse determination method using an image includes the steps of: enabling a computer device to detect a skin area from the image composed of a plurality of frames； enabling the computer device to compute a mean value of color data of the skin area； enabling the computer device to separate an inspiration interval and an expiration interval from the mean value of the color data according to a time flow； enabling the computer device to extract a pulse wave signal from the mean value of the color data； and enabling the computer device to determine a paradoxical pulse based on a first value that is a frequency power mean value of the pulse wave signal in the inspiration interval and a second value that is a frequency power mean value of the pulse wave signal in the expiration interval. Accordingly, the present invention can easily determine the paradoxical pulse by using the image captured by a smart device.영상을 이용한 기이 맥박 판별 방법은 컴퓨터 장치가 복수의 프레임으로 구성된 영상에서 피부 영역을 검출하는 단계, 상기 컴퓨터 장치가 상기 피부 영역의 색상 데이터 평균값을 구하는 단계, 상기 컴퓨터 장치가 시간의 흐름에 따른 상기 색상 데이터 평균값에서 들숨 구간과 날숨 구간을 구분하는 단계, 상기 컴퓨터 장치가 상기 색상 데이터 평균값에서 맥파 신호를 추출하는 단계 및 상기 컴퓨터 장치가 상기 들숨 구간에서의 상기 맥파 신호의 주파수 파워값 평균인 제1 값과 상기 날숨 구간에서 상기 맥파 신호의 주파수 파워값 평균인 제2값을 기준으로 기이 맥박 여부를 판단하는 단계를 포함한다.
