A series of non gene mutations were found in one or more genes of SBEII wheat gene and used to produce wheat grain. These mutations were found in one or more genes of SBEII. The seeds and flour of these wheat plants showed the increase of resistant starch and starch content, but there was no foreign nucleic acid in their genome. In addition, these wheat plants showed the activity change of SBEII, and there was no foreign nucleic acid in their genome.Una serie de mutaciones no transgénicas inducidas por el hombre independientes halladas en uno o más de los genes de SBEII de trigo； y su uso en la producción de granos de trigo que tienen estas mutaciones en uno o más de sus genes de SBEII. Las semillas y la harina de estas plantas de trigo presentan un aumento en los niveles de amilosa y almidón resistente sin tener la inclusión de ácidos nucleicos extraños en sus genomas.Además, estas plantas de trigo presentan actividad alterada de SBEII sin tener la inclusión de ácidos nucleicos extraños en sus genomas.
