To provide a body motion determination apparatus which detects the body motion of a subject and determines the pitch or balance of walking and/or running.

SOLUTION: The body motion determination apparatus includes body motion information acquiring means which acquires the body motion information ON a user, walk determining means which determining whether body motion of the user is walking or not ON the basis of the body motion information acquired by the body motion information acquiring means, and body motion determining means which determines the walking condition of the user using the body motion information determined to be walking by the walk determining means. The walking condition includes regularity of walking pitch of the user and/or a right and left balances of walking of the user. The body motion information includes an acceleration value generated by body motion of the user and the body motion information acquiring means is an acceleration sensor that detects at least horizontal and vertical acceleration values regarding the body motion of the user.
