PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator for a tampon with which an absorber can be placed in an appropriate position inside the vagina.SOLUTION: The tampon applicator 1 includes: an outer cylinder 2 provided with a push opening 8 which houses the absorbent 4 inside and in which the push opening 8 for pushing the absorbent is provided on one side and on the other side, a grip cylinder part 7 is provided an inner cylinder 3 for pushing the absorbent 4 outward by movement into the outer cylinder 2 and a flange part 11 for stretching from an outer circumferential surface of the grip cylinder part 7 of the outer cylinder 2 outward in the radial direction.
