PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transdermal patch for administering fentanyl or an analog thereof for analgetic purpose, through skin over an extended period of time.SOLUTION: The transdermal patch includes (a) a backing layer and (b) a reservoir disposed on the backing layer with polyacrylate as a base, wherein at least the skin contact surface is adhesive, and having a thickness of about 0.0125 mm (0.5 mil) to about 0.1 mm (4 mil).
