PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head set, specifically an ear pad for the head set for continuously extracting physiological information from a human, during a daily living activity, especially during a high activity level.SOLUTION: A monitor device for attachment to an ear of a person comprises: a base； an ear bud housing 16 which is configured to be placed in an ear of a subject, and extends from the base to outside； and a cover 18 surrounding the ear bud housing. The base includes a speaker, a light emitter 24, and a light detector 26.
