This area ratio relates to the blood volume in the uterine artery.La présente invention concerne une méthode, un système et un logiciel permettant d'identifier une grossesse à haut risque, ladite méthode comprenant les étapes consistant à générer un spectrogramme à partir de signaux Doppler ultrasonores réfléchis par l'artère utérine, à déterminer l'enveloppe des fréquences maximales dudit spectrogramme, à définir une partie systolique et une partie diastolique dans l'enveloppe des fréquences maximales et à calculer un rapport entre les aires sous la courbe correspondant auxdites parties systolique et diastolique (AR). Ledit rapport est corrélé au volume sanguin circulant dans l'artère utérine.
