The core wrap includes a first material and a second material. The first material may form a C wrap around at least a portion around the second material. The absorbent material comprises at least 80% superabsorbent polymer by weight of the absorbent material. The absorbent core includes a channel that is substantially free of superabsorbent polymer that is at least partially directed to the longitudinal axis of the article and includes an arcuate portion. The channel has a transverse width taken parallel to the transverse axis of the article.
