PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission module 1 in which stress is not applied to an optical fiber 50 and which can transmit an optical signal in a stable manner.SOLUTION: An optical transmission module 1 includes: an optical element 10 having a light emitting part 11 for converting an electric signal to an optical signal a holding member 40 having a through-hole 40H disposed so that the light emitting part 11 is opposed to the through-hole 40H and an optical fiber 50 for transmitting the optical signal.
