The present invention relates to the obtention of an attenuated strain of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, hereinafter Bluelymphadenine, obtained by genetic modification. The genetic modification of this strain was obtained by insertion of the TnFuZ transposon into the gene that encodes an exported protein similar to the secreted binding protein of the iron transport system found in C. diphtheriae NCTC 13129. The invention also relates to the use of this strain as a live vaccine against caseous lymphadenitis. Immunisation assays in mice showed that Bluelymphadenine offers 81% protection against the virulent strain, besides having no toxicity. Thus, Bluelymphadenine constitutes an immunisation alternative for combatting caseous lymphadenitis that is much more effective than the existing alternatives in the prior art.La présente invention concerne lobtention dune souche atténuée de Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, ci-après appelée Bluelymphadénine, obtenue par modification génétique. La modification génétique de cette souche a été obtenue par insertion du transposon TnFuZ dans un gène codant pour la protéine exportée similaire à la protéine sécrétée de liaison du système de transport de fer présente dans C. diphtheriae NCTC 13129. Linvention concerne également lutilisation de cette souche comme vaccin vivant contre la lymphadénite caséeuse. Des tests dimmunisation chez des souris ont montré que la Bluelymphadénine offre 81% de protection contre la souche virulente, outre le fait de ne pas présenter de toxicité.
