PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether the photographing state of an organ is good or no-good for acquisition of an image with good photographing state, and to reliably acquire information required for diagnosis from the image with good photographing state.SOLUTION: An organ photographing apparatus 1 comprises an imaging unit 4, an information extraction unit 14, a determination unit 15, and an imaging control unit 11. The imaging unit 4 photographs an organ of a living body to acquire an image. The information extraction unit 14 extracts, from the image, diagnostic information required for diagnosis of the organ. The determination unit 15 determines whether the photographing state of the organ is good or no-good. The imaging control unit 11 controls the imaging unit 4 according to the determination result of the determination unit 15. The determination unit 15 extracts, from the image acquired by the imaging unit 4, determination information for good/no-good determination of the photographing state, and determines whether the photographing state is good or no-good, on the basis of the determination information.
